Audit
Our experienced independent Auditors are regularly commissioned to carry out structured internal and external audits on Recycling operations and extended supply chains, providing comprehensive reporting and recommendations on findings. Where required, Clients can also commission CarbonZone to deliver the recommendations and corrective actions defined in audit reports.
External Audits may be commissioned by Manufacturers, Waste Producers, Compliance Schemes or Agencies seeking to ensure their Recycling partners are legally compliant or simply capable of delivering the quality of service and value desired within a contract.
For Recyclers and Reprocessors, Carbon Zone carry out extensive internal per-audits and audits for the purposes of compliance checking and process improvements.
Our IEMA accredited Auditors carry out Compliance Audits for Approved Authorised Treatment Facilities ( AATF ) and Approved Exporters ( AE ) to satisify their obligations for issued WEEE Evidence under the WEEE Regulations.
Licensing
Waste Licensing can be a complex, expensive and time-consuming activity.
CarbonZone’s Consultants provide Licensing services to Recyclers & Reprocessors requiring a Waste Management License or IPPC for their Sites or other Licensed activities such as Waste Brokerage, Approved Exporter license etc. We will construct, write and submit formal applications to the relevant Authority.
Producer Compliance Schemes can also benefit from our operational experience of such Schemes from the creation of Constitutions and professional Operating Plans to the submission of successful applications to the relevant Authority.
